Open Call
“Exhibiting at this edition of Jaipur Art Week offered several advantages for me. The exposure to a diverse and engaged audience, thanks to the event's prominence, was invaluable. It provided a platform to showcase my work and connect with fellow artists, enthusiasts, and potential collaborators. Additionally, the experience allowed me to explore new perspectives through interactions with the community, enhancing both my artistic vision and network. While collaborating with PATI's team brought its own set of positive experiences, the Jaipur Art Week further amplified the reach and impact of my work, contributing significantly to my overall artistic journey.”
(Exhibiting Artist, Jaipur Art Week 2024)
Over its previous iterations, Jaipur Art Week has grown to become an important incubator for early career artists and creatives. Promoting excellence and encouraging exploration, its exhibitions and parallel programmes provide much needed opportunities for emerging creatives to expand their horizons and gain visibility in the international art world. Jaipur Art Week 4.0 will further this, with a new Artist Mentor scheme, professional development programme and an expanded support reach.
Putting the artist’s voice first, each edition of Jaipur Art Week is co-curated through an open call format with a jury of internationally renowned arts professionals and the selected artists. By engaging this flat curatorial hierarchy, each edition provides a unique snapshot of the most interesting and forward-thinking contemporary art today, by the people actively making it.
Open Call 2025
For Edition 4.0, we welcome artists who are inspired by, are based in or have connections to the Public Arts Trust of India’s home state, Rajasthan, to apply.
We know that as artists and practitioners, your work doesn’t always neatly fit into a box, so we’ve kept Jaipur Art Week 4.0’s Open Call just that, open. There are no specific mediums or criteria, you don’t even need to have an art degree or any formal training to apply, we want you to share your ideas and the work you make with us, and we’ll support you to show it.
The year’s jury of international arts professionals includes Darius Sanai (Editor in Chief of LUX, owner of LUX Global Media and consultant Editor in Chief at Condé Nast International), Judith Greer (Director of International Programmes at the Sharjah Art Foundation), Rana Begum (Artist) and Jai Danani (Art Advisor & Philanthropist). Developing on our commitment to support early career artists and creatives, selected artists will each be assigned an Artist Mentor to support the development and selection of the work you will showcase during Jaipur Art Week. This year’s mentors include artists Nandan Ghiya and Manisha Gera Baswani.
Selected artists will be given the opportunity to showcase their work in a group exhibition or as solo interventions across our partner venues throughout Jaipur.
